Charges for Volunteers

We try to be fair with our charges, but it has to be understood that we are a charity with over 30 children in our care.

The registration fee must be paid upon acceptance of your application, after all checks have been carried out.

The weekly fees cover being met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our representative, lodgings and food.

NOTE: These charges are subject to change due to fluctuations in the exchange rate.

You will also need to being pocket money for shopping for souvenirs - Kisii is the source of soapstone carvings in Kenya and any trips you may wish to take outside of our programme, such as a safari to game parks (the Maasai Mara is the closest). We will help you to book such trips, but you will not be accompanied by our staff.
