Edwin's mother died in 2003. His father has re-married and no longer lives with Edwin and his younger brother Dennis [MGK-036] Edwin and Dennis live in a mud hut close to their adult sister, but, to a large extent, have to fend for themselves.

Although he has never seen them play, Edwin is an avid Manchester United supporter.

Together with his brother Dennis and his two cousins Aloys and Nyachuba, Edwin will really benefit from the new Twiga Children's Centre.

Edwin is a willing and able boy, helping to establish the Twiga vegetable plot.
